Portinho da Arrábida, Galápos and Figueirinha are the calm, shallow, turquoise beaches under the Serra da Arrábida. Part of the coast road is closed to cars, so many visitors reach the beaches and the hidden sea caves by boat. The water is clearest in summer — come early, as parking and the sand fill up fast.
